Menno has a background in psychology, data and marketing. He started his career with a thesis about in-game advertising and three books about advertising on the Internet. He helped Rabobank fintech start-up tref.nl grow and he built Internet technology at Y&R for international corporations like Ericsson and Ford. As Marketing Comms Manager at Schiphol Airport he created a multiscreen video format and managed the narrowcasting project (part of the digital transformation of Schiphol). As a Head of Strategy at UM he entered the media world ten years ago. Today he is Chief Data & Tech Officer of Mediabrands keen to redefine advertising into something people actually want.
