Mika Yamamoto is Chief Digital Marketing Officer at SAP, the market leader in enterprise application software. In this role, she leads the demand generation, marketing tools and technology, and field marketing strategy for the company.

Previously, Mika was Chief Marketing Officer of SAP SMB, an SAP division focused on the small and midsize business market. She led efforts to modernize the brand and go-to-market strategy for this group, using digital marketing to build and convert pipeline.

Prior to joining SAP, Mika was Head of Marketing and Merchandising for Amazon Books where she launched the first Amazon Books store. She spent over six years at Microsoft in roles such as the GM of Marketing and Merchandising of the Microsoft Stores and Sr. Directory within the Microsoft Windows division where she led channel management and product management teams. Before Microsoft, Mika spent more than five years covering the SMB market as Research Vice President at Gartner, Inc. She began her career at Accenture driving organization design efforts related to financial service M&A activity.

Mika prides herself on building highly engaged and impactful teams that use data to drive decision-making to achieve exceptional business results. These results are further amplified by driving strategic change efforts. Her vast marketing expertise includes brand development, customer experience design, product management, research, product marketing, strategic planning, digital media, lead generation, marketing tools and technology, P&L management, and field marketing initiatives. She is dedicated to further building strong diversity and inclusion programs in the industry to encourage all to follow their ambitions.

Mika holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. She is also Vice President of the Board of Rainer Valley Food Bank, the busiest food bank in Seattle. Mika works in the SAP Bellevue office and lives in Kirkland, Washington with her three sons.
